Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
- 1 can 15 oz diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese optional, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the ground beef in a pan over medium heat until it turns brown
Get rid of extra fat
Move the beef that has been cooked to the slow cooker
To the bowl, add the elbow macaroni, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, dried oregano and basil, salt, and pepper
Use a stir to mix
It will be ready when the lid is on after 6 to 8 hours on low heat or 3 to 4 hours on high heat
If the seasoning needs to be changed, taste it when its done
If you want, you can serve it hot and top it with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped fresh parsley
