Classic BBQ Burger

This classic BBQ burger will make you miss summer. BBQ sauce is mixed into juicy beef patties, which are then topped with cheddar cheese and served with all of your favorite burger toppings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Pickles
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat

In a bowl, mix the ground beef, barbecue sauce, chopped onions, salt, and pepper

Form the mixture into 4 burger patties

Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness

During the last minute of grilling, top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese and close the grill lid to melt the cheese

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until they are lightly browned

Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the burger patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, and pickles

Add additional barbecue sauce if desired and top with the buns upper half

Serve hot and enjoy

Leek & Potato Pan Roast

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt

In a separate larger bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and smooth

Add in the vanilla extract and egg

Beat until well combined

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined

Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips

Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set around the edges but still slightly soft in the centers

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
