Portabello Burger mit Creamy Avocado Sauce-15

A flavorful and nutritious burger featuring grilled portabello mushrooms, creamy avocado sauce, and a variety of fresh toppings. This Portabello Burger is perfect for those who enjoy a meatless burger option with a burst of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large portabello mushroom caps
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional

Instructions:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat

Clean the portabello mushroom caps and remove the stems

Brush both sides of the mushroom caps with olive oil and season with salt and pepper

Grill the mushroom caps for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are tender and have grill marks

While the mushrooms are grilling, split the burger buns and toast them on the grill until lightly browned
